Blueberries are a great source of antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin A, minerals and fibre. It helps boost immunity, reduce risk of heart diseases, obesity and diabetes. It is a perfectly balanced breakfast / snack / guilt-free dessert recipe. Bonus, it is100% Plant-based and Planet-friendly!
The Recipe (Serves One)
- 1/2 cup of frozen/fresh blueberries.
- 1 chilled Vanilla Almond STRIVE.
- 2 dried apricots (great source of Vit A & C)
- 1 tbsp flax seed powder
- Handful of Basil (optional)
- 1 Banana (optional)
- 2 tbsp oats (optional)
- 1 Glass
Step 1: Blend the blueberries, flax seed powder, dried apricots and STRIVE in a high speed mixie (or blender)
Step 2: Taste and check for sweetness. Optional sweeteners are stevia, organic honey, jaggery, coconut sugar.
Optional: Add banana and oats if you want to enhance sweetness and thickness
Step 3: Remove blended liquid and pour into 1 glass container.
Step 4: Top with leaves of basil
